PBHCIA team is joining forces in our community to make significant improvements in our neighborhood, ranging from restoring our parks and contributing to educational programs to offering events and activities for the whole family. We also walk our streets to report necessary repairs, such as damaged streetlights and drainage issues to prevent flooding caused by the sewer system (PB Highlands is the highest point in Broward County and has no history of flooding due to weather events). We also advocate for increased safety, address residents’ needs, and bring these concerns to the attention of the relevant personnel in the City of Pompano Beach (COPB).
Below are some examples of these improvements.
We’re counting on you to help us continue developing these improvements. Everyone is welcome to lend a hand and help make The Highlands the neighborhood we all dream of. Please contact us or attend our monthly meetings to join these community efforts.
